Iceland ranked number four among European nations regarding people who did not visit the dentist because it was too expensive even though they needed the service. In Iceland 10% skipped a dental visit because it was too expensive. Latvia had the highest percent of people skipping a dental visit they needed because of expenses, 17.3%, followed by Portugal, 13.7% and Romania 10.2%.
