Taxable payments in February 2024

The total sum of taxable wages increased by 2.9% in February 2024 from the previous month. The annual changes vary between economic activities. The total sum of taxable wages was about 157,000 million ISK, the number of employees was about 203,600 and the number of employers was about 21,100. Note that data have not been adjusted for inflation.
