Data on received and concluded cases in the district courts are collected from the Judical Council. Information on Supreme Court cases are gathered from the Office of the Supreme Court. Data on the number of offences is received from The National Commissioner of the Icelandic Police and data on convictions and prisoners are received from The Prison and Probation Administration.
