STATISTICS EDUCATION 02 JULY 2025

Almost 27% of the population aged 25-64, or 54,900 persons, took part in lifelong learning in 2024, almost 24% of men and just under 30% of women. This is a slightly higher proportion than in the previous year. In general, participation in lifelong learning increases with more education and was greater among the employed and the unemployed than among those who were not in the labour market in 2024.
