In 2007, 3,674 new limited liability companies were registered, which is about 15% increase from the year 2006 when 3,191 new companies were registered. The share of new registrations by economic activities is similar between years, but distribution by regions shows that 72% of total new registrations appear in the capital region. In the year 2007, the growth rate of new registrations was highest in the West region were total number of new registrations rose by approximately 45% between the years 2006 and 2007.
