According to preliminary figures for August 2015, the value of exported goods amounted to ISK 47,300 million fob and the value of imported goods amounted to ISK 49,400 million fob. Thus, there was a deficit of ISK 2,100 million in August 2015, calculated on fob value.
Note that an estimation for fuels purchased abroad by Icelandic ships and aircraft is now included in the preliminary figures.
