The surplus of balance of trade in goods and services in the second quarter of 2018, as published in national accounts and balance of payments, was 5,200 million ISK according to preliminary figures, compared with 14,700 million ISK in the second quarter of 2017. The deficit of converted trade in goods was 49,800 million ISK while the surplus of balance of trade in services was 55,000 million ISK, in the second quarter of 2018.
Total export of goods and services for the second quarter of 2018 was 328,300 million ISK while total import of goods and services was 323,100 million ISK.
These figures are published in the transition table on Statistic Iceland’s website, which harmonizes the standards for trade in goods and balance of payment.
