According to preliminary figures for October 2015, the value of exported goods amounted to ISK 46,800 million fob and the value of imported goods amounted to ISK 50,400 million fob. Thus, there was a deficit of ISK 3,600 million in October 2015, calculated on fob value.
Note that an estimation for fuels purchased abroad by Icelandic ships and aircraft is now included in the preliminary figures.
