According to preliminary figures for May 2011 the value of exported goods amounted to ISK 56,600 million fob and the value of imported goods amounted to almost ISK 49,800 million fob. Thus, there was a trade surplus of ISK 6,800 million in May 2011, according to the preliminary figures, calculated on fob value.
