Export of services for the third quarter of 2011, according to preliminary figures, was 108,624 million ISK and the import of services 81,371 million ISK. Therefore, the services trade surplus in the third quarter of 2011 was 27,253 million ISK.
Transport was the largest category within export of services and the surplus of transport was 22,537 million ISK. Other services than transport and travel was the largest category within imports of services and the deficit of other services was 9,840 million ISK. The surplus of travel services was 14,556 million ISK.
