According to preliminary figures for April 2008 the value of exported goods amounted to ISK 33,500 million fob and the value of imported goods amounted to almost ISK 40,800 million fob. Thus, there was a trade deficit of ISK 7,200 million in April 2008, according to the preliminary figures, calculated on fob value.
