In May 2019, value of exported goods in BOP* was estimated 64,100 million ISK and value of imported goods was estimated 65,900 million. Hence, a deficit of balance of trade in goods in BOP was estimated 1,800 million. In the same month, export of services was estimated 56,200 million ISK and import of services was estimated 36,900 million. Hence, the surplus of balance of trade in services was estimated 19,300 million ISK in May 2019.
Total export of trade in goods and services was therefore estimated 120,400 million ISK in May and total import of trade in goods and services was estimated 102,900 million ISK. The surplus of balance of trade in goods and services was estimated 17,500 million ISK in May 2019.
