The surplus of balance of trade in goods and services in the first quarter of 2017, as published in National Accounts and Balance of payment, was 7,963 million ISK according to preliminary figures, compared with 3,466 million ISK in the first quarter of 2016.
The deficit of converted trade in goods was 35,114 million ISK while the surplus of balance of trade in services was 43,077 million ISK, in the first quarter of 2017.
Total export of goods and services for the first quarter of 2017 was 236,874 million ISK while total import of goods and services was 228,911 million ISK. These figures are published in the Transition table on Statistic Iceland’s website, which harmonizes the standards for trade in goods and balance of payment.
