NEWS RELEASE FISHERIES 15 MAY 2014

Total catch of Icelandic vessels in April 2014 decreased by 18.8% at constant prices compared with April 2013. The total catch measured in tonnes decreased by 6.5% in April between years. This occurred for nearly all species. Demersal catch decreased by 13% while the catch of pelagic fish was similar to last years.
