Total value of catch of Icelandic vessels amounted to 44.5 billion ISK in January-March 2013, compared with 46.7 billion ISK in the first three months of 2012. Total value decreased therefore by 4.7% between years.
Total value of demersal species accounted for ISK 26 billion; thereof cod ISK 14.2 billion, haddock 3.7 billion, and redfish 4 billion. Total value of pelagic species accounted for ISK 16.3 billion and flatfish catches for 2.1 billion.
