NEWS RELEASE INDUSTRY 18 DECEMBER 2015

The building cost index compiled in the middle of December 2015 is 128.2 points (December 2009=100), 0.1% higher than in the previous month. The index applies to January 2016.

Prices of imported materials decreased by 0.5% (effect on the index -0.1%) from last month while labour cost increased by 0.6% (0.2%).

Over the last twelve months the BCI has increased by 6.1%. The average BCI in 2015 was 125.3, 4.0% higher than the BCI average for 2014.
