NEWS RELEASE INDUSTRY 19 DECEMBER 2016

The building cost index compiled in the middle of December 2016 is 130.2 points (December 2009=100), unchanged from previous month.

Imported material decreased by 2.3% (effect on the index -0.5%). Domestic material prices rose by 0.7% (0.3%) between months and labour cost increased by 0.5% (0.2%).

In the last twelve months the BCI has increased by 1.5%. The index applies to January 2017.
