The Building Cost Index compiled in the middle of October 2004 stood at 303.9 points (June 1987=100) and is 0.53 per cent higher than in the previous month. The index applies to november. Comparable Index older base (December 1982=100) is 972 points.

In the last twelve months the BCI has risen by 5.6 per cent.
