The European Statistics Day is celebrated on 20 October. This year's motto is "Official Statistics, a window for understanding society". The objective is to raise awareness of the important role European statistics have in democratic societies and at the same time the importance of the work done by statistical offices and their staff.
On this occasion, Statistics Iceland publishes a new salary search (in Icelandic). A tool which allows people to look up salaries based on the classification of occupation.
