The Media and Culture Barometer 2023 sheds light on the population’s media use and cultural participation. Among the findings is that people aged 18 and older spent on average nearly seven hours per day using various kinds of media, and almost every second person practiced music in one form or another in the last 12 months period. This is the first time Statistics Iceland has carried out such a survey and which is expected to be repeated this year.
