Disposable income of the household sector has increased by 4.9% in 2012 from the previous year. Disposable income per capita has increased by 4.4 % from 2011 to 2012 but purchasing power per capita decreased by 0.8%. Households’ total income has increased by 4.7% between 2011 and 2012 and total expenditure (i.e. property expenditure and current transfers paid) has increased by 4.4% in the same time period.
There have been some revisions in the data for 2011 since the last publication. Notably, data on financial assistance from local governments and taxes on income and wealth has been revised for 2011 due to availability of more accurate figures.
