The CPI compiled in June 2004 is 235.7 points (May 1988=100), 0.77 per cent higher than in the previous month. The CPI less housing cost is 228.7, 0.57 per cent higher than in May.
Housing prices rose by 2.1 per cent (effect on the CPI 0.26 per cent) and prices of petrol and gasoline rose by 6.1 per cent (0.24). Prices of food and beverages rose by 0.7 per cent (0.11).
The CPI in June 2004 is 3.9 per cent higher than in June 2003 and the CPI less housing cost is 2.7 per cent higher. The CPI rose by 2.2 per cent over the last three months equivalent to an annual inflation of 9.0 per cent (CPI less housing cost 6.9 per cent).
The credit term index in July 2004 is 235.7 points. The old credit term index is 4.654 points in July 2004.
