The Consumer Price Index (CPI) based on prices in June 2023, is 595.6 points (May 1988=100), 0.85% higher than in the previous month. The CPI less housing cost is 491.1 points, 0.68% higher than in May 2023.
Cost of owner occupied housing (imputed rent) increased by 1.6% (effect on index 0.31%). Prices at hotels, cafés and restaurants increased by 2.7% (0.14%).
The CPI is 8.9% higher in June 2023 than in June 2022 and the CPI less housing cost is 7.9% higher than one year ago.
The CPI compiled in the middle of June 2023, 595.6 points, is applicable for indexation purposes in August 2023. The old credit terms index for August 2023 is 11,760 points.
