The Consumer Price Index (CPI) based on prices in June 2026, is 690.7 points (May 1988=100), 0.94% higher than in the previous month. The CPI less housing cost is 552.2 points, 1.08% higher than in May 2026.
Cost of owner occupied housing (imputed rent) increased by 0.6% (effect on index 0.13%). Prices of international airfares increased by 20.1% (0.52%) and accommodations services increased by 17.5% (0.11%).
The CPI is 5.2% higher in June 2026 than in June 2025 and the CPI less housing cost is 4.8% higher than one year ago.
The CPI compiled in the middle of June 2026, 690.7 points, is applicable for indexation purposes in August 2026.
