The Consumer Price Index (CPI) based on prices in March 2026, is 678.3 points (May 1988=100), 0.55% higher than in the previous month. The CPI less housing cost is 542.4 points, 0.67% higher than in February 2026.
Price of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 0.7% (0.11% effect on the index), price of petrol increased by 5.8% (0.10%) and price of diesel increased by 6.9% (0.05%).
The CPI is 5.4% higher in March 2026 than in March 2025 and the CPI less housing cost is 4.9% higher than one year ago.
The CPI compiled in the middle of March 2026, 678.3 points, is applicable for indexation purposes in May 2026.
