NEWS RELEASE PRICES 29 NOVEMBER 2018

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) based on prices in November 2018 is 460.5 points (May 1988=100), 0.24% higher than in the previous month. The CPI less housing cost is 393.5 points, 0.18% higher than in October 2018.

Prices of new cars rose by 1.6% (effect on the index 0.14%). International airfares declined by 13.2% (-0.16%).

The CPI is 3.3% higher in November 2018 than in November 2017 while the CPI less housing cost is 2.4% higher than one year ago.

The CPI compiled in the middle of November 2018, 460.5 points, is applicable for indexation purposes in January 2019. The old credit terms index for January 2019 is 9,093 points.
