The CPI is 4.2% higher in December 2013 than in December 2012 and the CPI less housing cost is 3.3% higher than one year ago. Over the last three months, the CPI has increased by 0.9%, equivalent to an annual inflation rate of 3.6% (1.6% for the CPI less housing cost).
The average of the CPI in the year 2013 was 412.7 points, 3.9% higher than the 2012 year average. This change is comparable to a 5.2% rise in 2012 and 4.0% in the year 2011.
The CPI less housing cost was on average 392.3 points in the year 2012, 3.8% higher than in 2012. This change can be compared to a 5.3% rise in the year 2012 and 3.8% in the year 2011.
The CPI compiled in the middle of December 2013, 418.9 points, is applicable for indexation purposes in February 2014. The old credit terms index for February 2014 is 8,271 points.
