Data on gross domestic product (GDP), actual individual consumption (AIC) and price levels in Europe for 2025 have been updated. The figures are expressed in purchasing power standards (PPS), which take into account differences in price levels between countries and allow for more meaningful comparisons of purchasing power.
GDP per capita in Iceland was 28% above the EU average in 2025 (EU-27, def. 2020). Actual individual consumption per capita in Iceland was 15% above the EU average in 2025. Price level index of food and non- alcoholic beverages in Iceland was 56% above EU in 2025.
