The producer price index (PPI) in July 2015 was 216.3 points (4. quarter 2005 = 100), which is 2.5% lower than in the previous month. The PPI for fish products was 280.0 points which is 1.0% higher than in June 2015 (effect on the index 0.3%) and the PPI for power intensive industry products was 210.8 points, 6.6% lower than in the previous month (-2.2%). The PPI for food products increased by 1.4% (0.2%) and the PPI for other manufactured products decreased by 4.4% (-0.8%).
The PPI for domestically sold products was 0.7% (-0.2%) lower than in the previous month while the index for exported products decreased by 3.2% (-2.3%).
Compared with July 2014 the PPI has increased by 7.4%. The PPI for fish products increased by 8.8% and the PPI for power intensive industry has increased by 7.5%. The price of food products has increased by 1.5%.
