The total wage index increased by 7.0% between the fourth quarter of 2024 and the same quarter of 2025. In the same period the labour cost index increased by 7.2%. The yearly average of the total wage index increased by 7.6% between 2024 and 2025 and in the same period the labour cost index increased by 8.1%.
Please note that as the underlying hours paid and hours worked were revised for the years 2024 and 2025 which results in a revision of previously published figures for the period in question.
