The CPI in November 2008 rose by 1.74% from the preceding month (1.84% less housing cost). Over the last 12 months the CPI rose by 17.1% (CPI less housing cost rose by 19.5%) while the change over the last 3 months is equivalent to an annual inflation of 20.8% (27.4% inflation less housing cost). In Iceland, the HICP rose by 2.5% in October and by 0.1% in the EEA.
