The CPI in May 2008 rose by 1.37% from the preceding month (1.48% less housing cost). Over the last 12 months the CPI rose by 12.3% (CPI less housing cost rose by 11.4%) while the change over the last 3 months is equivalent to an annual inflation of 28.0% (32.7% inflation less housing cost).
