A total of 4,260 persons with disabilities received services from 15 municipal service areas in 2012, an increase of 66 (1.6%) from the year before. Of these were 1,599 children 17 years old or younger (37.5%), more males than females or 60%, but boys were a majority of 0–17 years old or nearly 72%. In the age group 18-39 years males were nearly 61%. On the other hand in the age group 67 years and older females were 68%.
